ABOUT BENDIGO FINE MUSIC

Exceptional Artists,
Remarkable Places

Bendigo Fine Music

BRINGS ————————

Leading Australian and international musicians to Bendigo, presenting classical music in some of the city and region’s most distinctive spaces.

We believe regional audiences should be able to hear outstanding musicians where they live, while Bendigo’s remarkable instruments, buildings and musical heritage deserve to be heard and celebrated.

WHAT WE DO

Throughout the year, Bendigo Fine Music presents concerts, visiting artists and special projects, alongside our annual Keys of Gold Classical Music Festival.

Our programs bring together musicians, audiences, instruments and place, from intimate recitals in historic churches to ambitious projects such as the People’s Piano and the Underground Mine Concert.

ARTISTIC DIRECTION

Bendigo Fine Music’s artistic program is led by Artistic Director Thomas Heywood, working in collaboration with leading Australian and international musicians.

Programming is shaped by the artists, the music and the places in which it will be heard, creating performances with a strong connection to Bendigo and Central Victoria.
